Several years ago, the newsletter mailing list was updated and addresses no longer valid were removed. Actions like this help us keep our printing and postage costs at a minimum. We mail roughly 550 newsletters every year to family members located throughout the country. In the past few years, we have had roughly 60 to 70 people attending the reunion, many of whom are children. We realize that if you must travel a great distance, it is more difficult or perhaps impossible to come to the reunion every year. However, folks still would like to receive the newsletter to stay up-to-date on family information. Currently, the folks who attend the reunion are the ones who are bearing the load of the newsletter and operating costs. We do not charge anyone to be on the mailing list and do not charge dues of any kind. We do need help though. Please think about making a financial contribution to help cover newsletter printing and postage costs, reunion operating costs, or a donation to the church for this year’s reunion. You can send your donation to the treasurer: Anne Siebold 339 Althea Ct. Bel Air, MD 21015 Thanks! Also, some folks have stayed at the cabins or campground at Hungry Mother State Park. Call (800) 933-7275 for more information or you can reserve and get information online at www.dcr.state.va.us. You can also email the park at hungrymother@dcr.state.va.us. Also available is Hungry Mother Family Campground, a small family-owned campground just outside the park. Their phone number is (276) 783-2046
