The reunion had approximately 15-20 people signed in. Some of which were first-timers which is great!
The president (Elizabeth Siebold) presented 2 proposals to those attending the virtual reunion. The first was the date for the 2021 reunion. There were two possibilities. The first was July 24th, and the second was July 31st. July 31st is our normal weekend. Secondly, the president proposed that the current officers stay in their positions for the next year. Essentially, they would be rolled over. This is due to the current difficulties of having an election. These two proposals were sent in a Google forms. The family decided that the date of the 2021 reunion would be on July 31“. In addition, the family determined that the current officers would stay in their positions. Elizabeth also suggested a family history project you can complete during the quarantine. She shared that she plans on interviewing her grandparents about their lives and what they know of their families. She plans to do this via Zoom, so that she can record the call. That way you can not only hear the person you are interviewing, but see them as well. She feels that this is a great way to preserve family stories for future generations.
The Jefferson cups were bought on sale, before COVID hit. They were awarded to the following attendees of the virtual reunion:
